In March 2019, Luke, Barney, Jake & I started work on their debut LP in Welney, near Ely. We spent 5 days tracking the drums at The Mother Lode studios. A lovely, spacious and great sounding studio that was once 3 barns used as a carpenters workshop. The main live room is big, lively & open sounding which was perfect for a huge drum sound!
After that week we decamped to Half-ton Studios in Cambridge to track the rest of the album, spending a further 12 days living together at the studio. It was an insanely intense, fun & creative experience.
The record is due out later this year (2019). Watch this space!
